The Powerhouse Brewery is located in historic downtown Sebastopol, Sonoma County. The brewery is housed in a unique circa 1903 fieldstone and redwood building that is listed on the National Resister of Historic places. The building was constructed as a powerhouse for the Petaluma and Santa Rosa Railway Company's electric streetcar line (hence the name The Powerhouse Brewing Company.)

The Powerhouse Brewing Company offers a seasonal
menu which highlights the best of fresh Sonoma County farm products. The kitchen features "down home American cooking with a Sonoma flair," the menu includes pasta, vegetarian selections, Cajun specials, sandwiches, salads, and outstanding appetizers.
The Powerhouse offers a unique atmosphere, with a beautiful dining room decorated with old growth redwood wainscote salvaged from the demolition of the original Powerhouse attic and warehouse spaces, period antiques including converted gas lamps over the bar, and a permanent collection of Southern American Folk Art and Haitian sequined banners.
Donald Thorton, the Brewmaster has been brewing professionally for the past ten years. He is a Nationally recognized Brewing Competition judge and an avid homebrewer.
The Powerhouse is also one of Sonoma County's premiere venues for Live Music, with local and national Blues, New Orleans Jazz, and R&B acts featured on the Weekends.
The Powerhouse Restaurant and Pub is open Wednesday through Sunday at 12 noon. The Pub only is open on Tuesdays from 5-10 and both the Restaurant and Pub are closed Mondays.
