General Restaurant Information: Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurants, famous for authentic German-style lagers brewed on premise, feature a friendly, open and warm ambiance in a sleek modern setting. Wholesale Brewing Operation: In addition to the five Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurants, Gordon Biersch beer is now sold in over 500 retail locations throughout California, Nevada, and Hawaii, including such high profile locations as 3Com Park at Candlestick Point, Oakland Coliseum, Aloha Stadium, Concord Pavilion, University of Hawaii Special Events Arena, Sea Life Park, San Francisco International Airport, Sacramento Airport and San Jose International Airport, as well as numerous locations in Hilo, Kona, and Kawaii, Hawaii. Gordon Biersch operates an off-site brewery in Emeryville that services these wholesale accounts.

San Jose Brewery: Gordon Biersch will open a brewery for kegging and bottling in December of 1996. The three-story. 114,000-square foot building is located in San Jose and will house state-of-the-art, automated brewing equipment imported from the historic Grandau-Grafing Brewery in Bavaria, established in 1615. With an annual production capacity of 50,000 barrels, the facility will support the companyís long-awaited entry into the bottled beer markets, annually producing over 11 millions bottles in 12-ounce six-packs and 35,000 kegs.
