Burlingame Station Brewing Company is located on California Drive in downtown Burlingame, just 5 minutes south of the San Francisco Airport. A member of the Steelhead family of breweries, Burlingame Station will change its name in early 1997 to Steelhead Brewing Co. The 200 seat restaurant is decorated in the spirit of a traditional English pub. Large wingback chairs add a sense of privacy. Outdoor seating is available at umbrella topped tables for 40 more people. The kitchen offers wood oven pizzas, and pastas. Additionally, the night menu includes entrees such as fish, steak, pork chops, and veal. The homemade pizza crust contains spent grain from the brewing process.
Burlingame Stations 14-barrel brewing system is showcased behind the brewpubÕs beautiful granite and cherry-stained wood bar. The regular beer selection features at least seven delicious ales on tap, as well as two cask-conditioned beers. For non-beer drinkers Burlingame offers its homemade rootbeer.
Beers Brewed at Burlingame Station:
Hefeweizen an unfiltered wheat beer, light thirst quencher toped with
a wedge of lemon; Burlingame Station's lightest offering.
McKenzie Gold A golden, medium bodied ale; dry malt flavor with a
crisp hop finish.
Steelhead Amber An award-winning deep copper, slightly roasty with
caramel overtones.
Bombay Bomber India Pale Ale An intenstly aromatic, deep gold, bitter
ale. Also available on cask.
Burlingame Station has two authentic English beer engines. Bombay Bomber is usually available on the first, while the second offering changes continually. Most of our cask-conditioned beers are dry-hopped in the keg.
